On the 13th day of March 2019, our Dad Henry George Eddy, Jr. was reunited with his sweetheart Patricia A. Eddy after a long courageous battle with cancer. 13 was his lucky number. How appropriate for him to return to his Heavenly Father on that date.
Henry was born January 30, 1936 to Henry George Eddy, Sr. and Alice Jones in Ogden, Utah.
Henry married Frances Brockbank and they were blessed with 5 children. They later divorced. Henry then married the love of his life, Patricia Benton on May 27, 1978. Henry retired from Western Zirconium after more than 20 years of service as a maintenance technician.
Henry was very talented. His love of woodworking led him to create works of art in Intarsia for not only his family and friends but also for athletes such as the Utah Jazz, Utah Blaze and sports commentators. Henry and Pat attended many sporting events and met many great players throughout the years. They were both faithful fans.
Henry loved photography and took many photos of landscapes and flowers that Pat had lovingly cared for.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Alice Eddy, brothers Edwin and Lee Eddy, and his beloved wife Patricia Eddy.
He is survived by his sister Shirley (Norm) Morse, children, Corey (Rhonda) Eddy, Rick (Tracey) Eddy, Kristi Jellerson, Holly (Jeff) Freestone, Layne Eddy and stepsons Carl (Kim) Holt, and David (Beth) Holt. He was loved by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
