OGDEN a€" Henry Shinji Endow, 65, passed away Friday, October 15, 2010.

He was born February 20, 1945 in Ogden, Utah to Otto and Lily Sakaniwa Endow. He was raised and educated in Ogden, attending Weber County schools and Weber State College. He married Patricia VanCamp on February 14, 1969. They had two children and later divorced.

On December 29, 2006, Henry married Abbie Powers, in Ogden, Utah.

He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and started his own business, Oto Service and Storage auto repair. Henry enjoyed travel, golf, food, cars and riding his Harley. Henry also enjoyed spending time with his family particularly his granddaughter, Reese.

Henry is survived by his wife, Abbie Powers; a daughter, Aiko Endow (Patrick) Wynn, Seattle, WA; three stepchildren, Mechelle (Nathan) Hackwell, Nashville, TN; Jerry (Scheina) England, Worland, WY; Jake Powers, Ogden; three grandchildren, Reese Powers, Addison England, and Hartley Hackwell; three sisters, Maye (Jack) Bothwell, Ogden; Kimi Sato (J.R.) Hines, Layton; Rosie (Hal) Wagenet, Willits, CA; and two brothers, Gene Endow, Ogden; and Otto "Junior" (Kathy) Endow, Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Marcus Tomio Endow.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family will meet friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
