H. David Phillips H. David Phillips, son of Henry Dale and Eva Warren Phillips passed away at his home in Roy from complications of Diabetes on May 15, 2013. He was born on June 5, 1940 in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Weber High School in 1959. Played Clarinet and Base Clarinet with the World Famous Rafel Mendez. He served in the Army Reserve at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He was an expert marksman and rifleman especially with a Howitzer. He enjoyed reloading for over 57 years. David married Renae Johnson on August 26, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He worked for UP & L as a Journeyman Lineman and Sr. Dispatch Trouble man. David enjoyed serving as the ward chorister for over 40 years in various wards. He was always singing and whistling. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling the West Coast. David is survived by his wife, Renae; children, Alice (Kipp) Chandler, Paul, Aaron, Jared Dayna (Robert) Hooper and Jason and Andrea (Bill) Phillips; 5 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter; and brother, Warren (Ruth) Phillips. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
