Henry Joseph Albert Roberts

Henry Joseph Roberts, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 17, 2012. He was born on April 13, 1927 in Polson, Montana, the son of Henry J. and Elsie Ruth Hooper Roberts. He grew up in Montana and lived in Missoula until June of 1942 when he moved to Seattle, Washington.

He served in the Navy during World Warr II and was stationed in San Diego, Hawaii and Okinawa.

Henry married B. Boots Anderson on February 22, 1959. Henry and Boots lived in Utah.

He was a design Engineer for Thiokol and ATK. He also worked real estate part time. Henry enjoyed designing and helped to design the airbag and the flare.

Henry is survived by his wife, Boots Roberts; son, Bill Miller; daughters, Terry (Ralph) Edwards and Tammie (Tom) Icatar; 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and sisters, Joanne Gibbs and Gloria Courage.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister, Dorothy; granddaughter, Dana Anderson and daughter-in-law, Kathy Miller

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
