Henry R. Scott Jr.
Born in Rochester, New York July 8, 1929 and passed away peacefully at home March 12, 2021.
He always enjoyed working with his hands rebuilding engines. As a young boy he built and flew model airplanes, this led to 20 years in the U.S. Air Force repairing both prop and jet aircraft. After retirement from the military he became a business owner of an auto repair shop for 25 years and a member of the Studebaker Drivers Club Wasatch Mountains Chapter 27 years.
He will be truly missed by his family, two daughters Mary and her husband Herbert Crow, Virginia and her husband Jeff Schwartz, two sons George Scott, Clive Scott and wife Gina, 13 grandchildren, Tosha Crow, Alta Newbold, Herbert Crow Jr., Stephen and Dawnelle Schwartz, Kevin and Lisa Nelson, Krystle DeWitt, Cassandra and Basil Curry, Crystal Scott, Juliann Scott, and Felicia Scott, 20 great-grandchildren and his many friends he acquired through his willingness to help others and his unique sense of humor.
Memorial services will be held Monday, March 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Everyone is welcome.
Interment, Lindquist’s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 2 p.m. for immediate family members.
In lieu of flowers family wishes donations be made to the V.F.W.
