Howard Glen Holland Cottrell

Howard Glen Holland Cottrell, son of Howard Blood and Violet Holland Cottrell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the age of 66.  Howard’s life began and ended in North Ogden, Utah.  In between, he blessed the lives of many all over the world.

Howard served a mission to Brazil from 1967-1969, married Steve Anna Kemp in the Logan LDS Temple on December 29, 1969, and received his BS in Accounting from Brigham Young University in August of 1971.  International business took him all over the United States and into Ecuador and Venezuela, before he settled into small business ownership in Kentucky.  Howard’s brief retirement brought a return to his hometown and the chance to reconnect with family and friends.

Howard is survived by his mother, Violet; wife, Stevie; children, Robert, Sherry-Anne McLean, John, and Randy-Lynne Wach; grandchildren, Evan, Cameron, and Brandon McLean and Marta, Christine, and Linda Wach; sisters, Joy Jeffs, Faye Wheeler, Julia Allred, and Tamara Barrett; and brother, Arnold.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.  Friends may visit with family on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden, where Howard will join his father and son.
