Howard Lee Holt
Howard Lee Holt, 93, passed away on March 5, 2018.
Howard was born March 28, 1924, to LeBaron Holt & Grace Sanders Holt in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended BYU and met his life-long love, Francine Decker, whom he married on January 26, 1943, in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. They were married 68 years.
During World War II he was a pilot of a B-17 and flew 21 missions over Germany. He was honourably discharged from the Air Force after the war. He continued his education at Arizona State University, and received his medical degree from UC Irvine, graduating in 1951. He then practiced medicine in Southern California for over 45 years.
He had a love for gardening, watching his grandkids play sports, and he had a wonderful sense of humor.
He is survived by his children James, Charles, Julie, Randall, Cheryl, and William; 16 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; and his beloved sister Gloria. He is preceded in death by his wife Francine, daughter Brandy, sister Dorothy, and brother James.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Chase Lane Chapel, 1125 North 400 West, Centerville, Utah. Friends may visit 9:30 - 10:30 at the church prior to the service. Interment Centerville City Cemetery.
