Hubert Merry

LAYTON- Hubert Merry, 77, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012.

He was born on May 11, 1935 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to Robert and Rachel Darling Merry. He married Donna Chase, they were later divorced.

Hubert served in the U.S. Navy, graduated in 1964 from Tri-State College in Indiana and retired from Hill Air Force Base, Utah as an Engineer.

He loved golfing and skiing.

Surviving are his life partner Ursula Stocks, sons, Craig Merry, Scout Merry, daughter Kelly Morningstar, six grandchildren, two brothers, Tom Merry, Rob Merry, three sisters, Peggy, Connie and Jeanne.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.

The family would like to thank the V.A. Hospital, friends and extended family for their loving support.
