Hunter Kelly

Hunter Douglas Kelly

1998-2016

Hunter Douglas Kelly, 18, was born June 2, 1998 in Layton, Utah. He is the third child of four lovely children, Tessa, Connor, and Grace. His Mother, Mary Kelly, has been blessed to be able to have spent so much one-on-one time with her baby boy.

Hunter would like to be remembered by you. So, eat some fast food, drink some Mountain Dew, eat some spicy chips, and remember him in your prayers. He called a lot of people his friends, from a range of ages. Hunter had a special presence he brought with him, everyone fell in love with his awkward and goofy being. And if he considered you a friend, he would try and make you laugh, or he didn’t really care if he bugged you- Hunter was Hunter. He was a very good painter. An excellent game player across the world, not just at XBOX or Playstation, but in the general sense. He considered himself a ladies man, regardless of their age. We’d humor him. Hunter enjoyed laying in his mother's bed especially with the other kids watching videos and spending quality time with one another. He loved his dogs, Shorty, Coco, and Lovely. Shorty was his favorite pup. He would hold him and argue with the rest of the family that Shorty loved him the most. He loved music and made his own rap album, which any young person would have loved. He liked rap, hard rap. Hunter was your typical teenager when it came to junk food. He loved soda, he was the “Soda King” he loved it so much that his Mother, Mary, had to ration out soda pop to him. He loved to eat. A big foodie, he wanted to try every food from every nation, the weirder the better. His favorite food ended up being Hawaiian, with a side of spicy lime tortilla chips. Hunter enjoyed riding bicycles. He loved his freedom. Hunter was a very intelligent person. His observation of life's different situations gave us all a different viewpoint to accept the difficult parts and make it through to the dawn of another day. He has touched ours and many other lives.

Hunter will be missed by many, but mostly by his Mother, Mary, and Siblings, Tessa, Connor, and Grace. We love him. We will continue to cherish our memories we have and wait until we can start making more with him. If you were the lucky ones to have known Hunter, you know that he wished you all the happiness in this lifetime and a warm bed to sleep in.
