Ida Fae Gibson Hill, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2007. She was born November 10, 1919 in West Weber, Utah a daughter of Jacob Wheatley and Ida McFarland Gibson. She attended public schools in Weber County and graduated from Weber High School.
Fae married Thomas Hyrum Hill on May 6, 1946. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
She worked at the American Can Company and also on the family farm in North Ogden.
Fae was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions. She enjoyed many years of service at the Ogden Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and their infant son, Jake.
Fae is survived by one son and three daughters, Jim (Loene) Hill, Ann (Steve) LaFleur, LeRona Gillette, and Gloria (Carl) Probert. She was Grandma Fae to many and loved being called "Grandma Great". She was involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren until the time of her death.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8th at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary.
Friends and family may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
Her family would like to thank the care givers at Emeritus and Applegate Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer''s Unit at Emeritus.
