Ida Lee Lewis
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, Ida Lee Lewis, passed peacefully through the veil on September 12, 2016. Lee was born December 20, 1932 to Wallace Limb and Ida Leola Gillies Limb in Beaver, UT.
Lee’s greatest joy was to be surrounded by those she loved most, her children – Randy (deceased), Sue (Rick), Rick (Robyn), Rod (Laura), Leann. Her eight grandchildren and 7½ great-grandchildren were loved beyond measure and always looked forward to spending time at Grandma’s.
Lee lived a life of service and Christ-like love. She served faithfully in many callings in various LDS Wards throughout her adult life. After retiring from Valley Mental Health, her love of knitting and crocheting became a passion of service. She knitted and crocheted many, many hats and slippers – each donated to those who were in need throughout the world. She worked as a Senior Companion for many years, enriching the lives of “her little ladies.” She also served with the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
Words cannot sufficiently express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for Leann. Her devoted and loving care for our mom made it possible for Lee to remain in her home to the end.
Predeceased by her parents; her sister, Alice Durell Limb Cox; her son, Randy; and great grandson, Parker Dyer.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Mountain View Cemetery, 30 W. 300 N., Beaver, Utah under the directions of Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary.
