Ileen Birt Lowder

September 19, 1930 — December 17, 2022

Ileen Lowder, 92, passed away on December 17, 2022, after a courageous battle against cancer and dementia.

She was born to Joseph A. and Josephine (Lunn) Birt of Clinton, Utah. She was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her eternal companion, Wayne LaVar Lowder; her parents; four siblings, Verla Barton, Arthur Birt, LaVern Alburty, and Sheldon Birt; and daughter-in-law, Jean Lowder. She is survived by her five children, Craig Lowder, Deborah Gibson and husband Blair, Micheal Lowder and wife Tonya, Rodney Lowder and wife Laura, and Charlene Lowder, as well as 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was loved by everyone who knew her and will truly be missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 S. Washington Blvd.
