Ina Lindsay "Ann" Hall
HARRISVILLE - Ina Lindsay "Ann" Hall, longtime resident of Harrisville, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2012, with her daughter by her side, 8 days shy of her 98th birthday.
She was born Ina Lavern Lindsay on November 25, 1914 in Eden, the second daughter of David Colon and Lottie Jane Ferrin Lindsay. She was educated in Weber County schools.
Ina married Ray E. Hall on November 19, 1938 in their newly built home in Harrisville where she lived for 72 years. Ray passed away on January 31, 2001.
She loved sewing and crocheting which she did beautifully. She especially loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Ann was a charter member of the Ogden Eagles Auxiliary, having joined in 1947.
Ina is survived by her daughter, Janeal "Jan" (Boyd) Ressler, Syracuse; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, 1 brother, and 5 half brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Rae Ann Larsen; son, Guy Hall, granddaughter, Wendy Burgess and sister, Lydia Hill.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd.
Ina''s family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff of Heath Watch, The Family Tree of West Point and Hospice of Utah for the loving and compassionate care given her.
