Inez V. Farr
TAYLOR – Inez Viola Cazier Farr, 100, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at her home of causes incident to age.
She was born May 30, 1908 in Farnum, Idaho, the daughter of William Robert and Delia Jane Alvord Cazier.
Inez married Glen Farr on March 14, 1928 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Glen preceded her in death August 23, 1993.
Inez attended school in St. Anthony, Idaho where she made many friends during her early years. She had lived the past 80 years on the family farm in Taylor. Her greatest happiness was working alongside her husband. Together, they operated a dairy farm.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Taylor 1st Ward serving in all organizations including Gospel Doctrine Teacher, Stake and Ward Relief Society Presidencies, Visiting Teacher and an Ogden Temple Ordinance worker.
She was a charter member of Camp 41 of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Inez enjoyed reading, music, keeping a beautiful home and yard, spending time with family and her many friends, and traveling.
Surviving are one son and two daughters, Gary Glen (Gwen S.) Farr, Beverly Farr (Eldon) Bailey, Joyce Farr Summers, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and three great-great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter, Nancy Lee Farr, and son-in-law, James D. Summers.
The family would like to sincerely thank those who have provided loving care throughout the past few years, especially Gwen, Gary and Eldon. Also, they express appreciation to the staff at Alpine Hospice for the friendship and love they have shown.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 2 at 1 p.m. at the Ogden West Stake Center, 4300 West 2200 South with Bishop Reggie Peterson officiating.
Friends may call at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Wednesday, October 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday at the Stake Center 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Interment, West Weber Cemetery.
