OGDEN-Inez Evelyn McBride Kappelman was called home to her Lord and Savior Friday, August 5, 2011, she was 99 years 4 months 9 days.

Inez was born March 27, 1912, to Curtis Canfield and Alice Mabel McBride in Akley, MN. She was the fourth child of eight.

She attended schools in North Dakota and South Dakota. She graduated from Hot Springs High School in Hot Springs, SD in 1931.

May 12, 1934, in Belle Fourche, SD, she married C.H. "Kap" Kappelman. Together with her husband they owned and operated the Highmore Bakery in Highmore, SD. They lived in South Dakota until 1948, when they moved to Ogden, Utah. She became a member of the First Baptist Church in 1948 where she has served as Deaconess, Sunday school teacher, choir member, youth leader, offices in the woman''s organization, and various other positions

She retired in 1972 from the IRS with 14 years of service.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Sept. 18, 1974, twins, a baby boy and baby girl, and a son Duane C Kappelman, August 9, 1993 and one sister and four brothers.

Surviving is a sister Grace Orton, of Moline, IL, a brother Charles McBride, St George, UT. Her children Sharron (Jerry) Hill, Barbara Brown and Connie McKean, all of Ogden: nine grandchildren, Kari Kappelman, Keli Foret, Tracy Hill, Paul Kappelman, Christen Hill, Kristal McKean, Dusty Hill, Matthew Brown and Corey McKean. 14 Great-grandchildren and three Great-great grandchildren her daughter-in-law Kim Kappelman and three step grand-children.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 2519 Jefferson Ave., Ogden, with Pastor Karl Dumas, officiating.

Family will meet with friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary 3408 Washington Blvd., Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch Park, 1718 Combe Rd.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Ogden.
