Ira Paul Aggers
COVINA, Calif. - Ira Paul Aggers quietly slipped from this life on Saturday, February 9, 2008, in Covina, California He was born April 4, 1923 in San Jose, CA. World War II found him joining the Navy and marrying his first wife, Ruby Mundy. Later, he married LaVern Lynch. Eventually they moved to Ogden and were sealed in the LDS Temple in 1983. He returned to CA for the last two years of his life.
Paul was a quiet, patient man who excelled in sports, dancing, oil painting, and golf. His all time passion was – the beach. Photography was his career and he retired as a landlord in Utah.
He is survived by his sister, Pearl Williams, Reno, NV; his wife, Ruby Aggers, Glendora, CA; his children Gary Aggers, Laguna Nigel, CA; Michael Aggers, Glendora, CA; Wanda Aggers, Glendora, CA; Gayleen Renfroe, Layton, UT; and Clark Lynch, Chandler, AZ. He has 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren in California, Utah, Texas and Iraq.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
