Irene Louisa (Unger) Tittensor

OGDEN – Irene Louisa (Unger) Tittensor, 92, passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at McKay-Dee Hospital of causes incident to age. She was born on October 27, 1925 in Topton, PA, a daughter to Harry B. and Effie M. Unger.

Irene married Thomas H. Tittensor on November 4, 1958, in Ogden they were married for 42 years, until his passing.

She lived most of her life in Ogden, where she worked for Mountain Bell until her retirement.

Irene enjoyed crocheting, knitting, toll painting, and ceramics. She had a great love for her cats Toby and Angel they both brought her much love and joy.

Surviving are her siblings, Paul, Mae, and Donald (Linda); nieces, Kathy (Willard deceased) and Ann (Ralph); nephew, Greg (Jeannie); daughter, Janet (Robert); and son Thomas Brad (Mary Lu); two granddaughters, Kimberly (Jeff) and Tracie (Vince);Two Grandsons Bryan(Cindy) and Travis (Christina).

She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons.

Irene was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, sister Annie, two brothers-in-law Willis and George, a Brother Harry(junior) and two sisters-in-law Mildred U. and Mildred H.

Per Irene's wishes, there will be no formal services; instead there will be an intimate family get together at the graveside at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.

Because of her compassionate nature, in lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to your local homeless and/or Animal Shelters.
