Irma L. Foulger
SALT LAKE CITY – Irma T. Foulger, 100, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, January 17, 2008 in Salt Lake City.
She was born September 9, 1907 in Rockland, Idaho, to Dell and Gertrude Richardson Tyler.
Irma married Bertrand L. Foulger in March of 1926 in Ogden, Utah. Bertrand preceded her in death on July 5, 1982.
Irma was very proficient in handwork and loved to China Paint her ceramic creations. She was also a wonderful cook, which will be remembered by all her family. The “Foulger Cabin” at Hebgen Lake, Montana was a favorite place where they entertained friends and family. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother, being very supportive in all of her progeny’s endeavors.
Surviving are her son, Donald (Rhea), her daughter Barbara New, eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Her husband and one grandson preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
