Irma L. Shelvik

Irma Lloydean Shelvik, 70, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born July 21, 1936 in King, Washington, a daughter of Lloyd Leslie and Irma Dessma Dean Ludvigson.

On August 9, 1958, Irma married Norman C. Shelvik in King County, Washington. He preceded her in death on February 24, 1964. She married Hubert Bauer on August 10, 1966 in Fairfax, Virginia. They were later divorced.

Irma lived in many places including Washington, Arkansas and Utah, so she could be close to family.

She was a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Irma was a nurse with the U.S. Army for many years.

Irma enjoyed ceramics, puzzle, dogs, and loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son and two daughters, John E. Bauer, South Ogden; Denys Barnes, Alaska; Karen Brown, Ogden; three grandchildren and one sister, Carla Skinner, Twin Falls, ID.

A viewing will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

Cremation under the direction of Lindquist''s Crematory.
