Ivers Fuzari left this earth peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2018.
Ivers was born on July 16, 1925 in Padova, Italy to Giulia Marcenta and Valentino Busato. She enjoyed most of her adolescence in Siena, Italy with her sisters Laura, Ondina, Ines and brother Danilo. Despite the hardships of WWII in Italy, she always felt a deep connection and love for her home country and would often reflect on the days of her youth and working at her local pharmacy.
At the age of 24 she moved to Brazil to escape the devastion caused by WWII. There she met the love of her life, another Italian immigrant, Carmo Fuzari. She loved telling the story of how he persued her for 6 months until she finally decided to marry him, but not until he shaved his mustache. They were married in the Santo Antonia do Pari church in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Soon after, they had their daughter, Carla. In 1972 Ivers and family were converted to the LDS church, shortly after she moved to the USA to be with her only daughter and grandchildren. Ivers worked exceptionally hard to become a citizen of the United States of America in 2000.
Ivers loved the church and dedicated a large portion of her life in service to it. She called to serve two missions to the Bern Switzerland Temple and was happy to serve many of her local churches and temples. Being fluent in Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and English helped her spread the word of the gospel.
Ivers also enjoyed spending her time doing embroidery, knitting and cooking exquisite Italian cuisine.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband; Carmo Fuzari, son in law; Thomas Dobson and granddaughter; Andrea Dobson.
Ivers is survived by her daughter; Carla Jacobs (Tom), grandchildren: Paula Bruce, John J Dobson (Ashley), Daniella Dobson, Michael Fuzari (Michelle); grandchildren: Dakota, Noah, Hannah, Jaxson, Danika, Cooper, Tommy, Vanessa, Maximus; great-grandchild Maysen.
