Ivy Johnson Scilley

Ivy Johnson Scilley, 100 years old, passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2015. She was born on October 11, 1914 in Deep Creek, Utah to Quince and Chloe Hall Johnson. She grew up and lived in Deep Creek for about 20 years and lived most of her adult life in Ogden, Utah. She married James Scilley and was later divorced.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, loved the gospel, and was very active. She enjoyed serving in the Relief Society and Young Womens organizations.
Ivy was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved being a mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and Mexico and many US States.
Ivy is survived by her son, Harold (Leslie), Ogden. She loved her five grandchildren, Mark (Brooke), Matt (Terri), Michael, Jenny (Aaron) Westbroek, and Jeff (Karissa), and 11 great-grandchildren very much. She was always supportive of all their activities and loved to spend time with them. She is also survived by her brothers, Orson, Ralph, Dean, Loyal, and Larry. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Eldon and three sisters, Mabel, Stella, and Nelda.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
