J. LaRue Walton Casey

LAYTON a€" LaRue passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Clearfield.

She was born April 10, 1924 in Layton, Utah the daughter of Orson F. and Lydia Higgle Walton.

LaRue married Charles F. Casey on April 5, 1942 in Ogden, Utah.

She worked for Clover Club in Kaysville and the Davis School District lunch program.

Surviving are three daughters, LaRue-Sally (Dan) Evans, Mary Swindells-Ortega, Carol Jean (Ed) Wheeler, eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one on the way, sister, Ruth (Grant) Cooper and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, son John Dennis Casey, grandson Chris Swindells, parents, two brothers and seven sisters.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends may visit family Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
