Jacey Ann Sparrow was born March 26th, 1981, to Laurie Rich Sparrow and Darwin Sparrow. She passed away unexpectedly at home on March 30th, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Davis County and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She graduated from Clearfield High School. She was previously employed at Target and Shopko.
“Grief is just love that has nowhere to go.” You could see the dynamics of a gathering change whenever Jacey entered a room. There would be a rush to greet her and vie for her attention. Hugs were always warm and friendly, genuine and loving. For all of her family, from the oldest to the newest member, she knew their birthdays. She was the family historian, morale officer, and the friendly voice on the other end of the phone inquiring about your day. She remembered hotel room numbers from the past vacations, and anniversaries of all important things to the people who she shared her life. The forces that arrayed against Jacey were many and formidable. And yet she never lost her smile or her kind nature. Nothing but pure unconditional love. There was never a doubt she was this family’s angel. The quintessential daughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin, and a sincere friend to everyone. She was fiercely independent and lived her life on her terms. Unselfish to a fault, always putting others first. She will be missed beyond measure. “Love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.” Sometimes people are just too beautiful to live on this earth….
She is survived by her parents, Darwin & Laurie Sparrow, brother Josh (Megan) Sparrow, Sisters Joelle (Tony) Perkins, Jamie (Andrew) Breckenridge, nephew Ryland Sparrow, nieces Chloe Sparrow, and Hayden and Gracie Breckenridge. She also leaves behind her beloved cat Snoops. Every year, Jacey would faithfully donate to the Utah Humane Society and Best Friends Animals Society. We believe Jacey would love and appreciate you doing the same in lieu of flowers.
