Jack C. Conolly
HARRISVILLE – Jack C. Conolly, 73, our beloved husband, father, grandpa, and friend passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City from complications of surgery for a brain aneurysm.
Jack was born December 6, 1933 in Ogden, the son of Edna Marriott and John C. Conolly. He was raised by LeRoy and Florence Snooks in North Ogden.
He married his special love, Jeri Bradshaw Sorensen, on June 8, 1972 in North Ogden.
Jack graduated from Weber High School in 1952 where he served as a student body officer.
He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955.
Jack was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Harrisville 5th Ward.
He worked for the government for several years. At the time of his death he worked part time for Now Care and loved and was loved by all his fellow employees.
Jack was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2472 and American Legion Post 0129. Jack loved to work in his yard and garden and was a master at making the Earth more beautiful at his home and his lot at the Eagles Trailer Park. Both were manicured to perfection. His work ethic and love were a great example for his children.

Surviving are his wife, Jeri, of Harrisville; six children who adored him: Craig F. (Deb) Sorensen, Voni (Dean) DeVries, Karen (James) Gerhardt, Ted Sorensen, Kevin (Karen) Sorensen, Frosty (Sharee) Sorensen; 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is one brother, Alton Conolly.
His younger brother, Dick Conolly, preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd.
Friends may call at the mortuary on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
