Jack LeRoy Hadlock, 78, took his last horse ride Thursday, October 4, 2012.
He was born October 26, 1933 in Ogden, Utah to Lloyd Ray and Ethel Leona Wilson Hadlock.
On June 21, 1959, Jack married the love of his life, Sharon Neilson, in Elko, Nevada. They enjoyed 53 wonderful years together.
In 1964, he won the bare-back riding championship in the RMRA. He was a horse 4-H leader for 25 years, earning a Gold Leaf Medal, and a posse leader where he assisted many youth in becoming champions. Jack and his brother, Bill, and their father, Lloyd, owned Hadlock Rodeo Company. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jack was also a Veteran and was proud to have served his country.
He loved his daughters and grandchildren unconditionally. Jack spent many hours sitting on the bleachers silently supporting their various sports and activities and was always cheering them on.
