Jack E. Hollister

Jack E. Hollister LAYTON – Jack E. Hollister, 84, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at his home. He was born March 11, 1926 in Marietta, Ohio the son of Amos D. and Gladene M. Robinson Hollister. Jack married Joan on June 16, 1951. She preceded him in death on August 9, 2001. Jack served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He was a member of the VFW. Jack liked flying, reading and was a runner for Meals on Wheels at the Autumn Glow Senior Center in Kaysville. Surviving are his son William Hollister, Layton, UT; daughters, Linda Hollister, Littlerock, CA; Nancy Hollister, Layton, UT; brother, Donald Hollister, OH; and two sisters, Edna M. Anderson, OH; and Edith M. Bleyer, FL. Interment will be at Watertown Cemetery, Watertown, Ohio at a later date. Funeral directors, Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
