Jack McWain

Jack McWain passed away on June 28, 2013 at Ogden Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born December 20, 1928 to George W. and Zella Wadington McWain in Yakima, Washington. He married Alta Oslin and they were later divorced. It was on January 16, 1985 that he married his sweetheart, Judie Bare McWain.

Over the years, Jack worked for Eddy''s Bakery as superintendant. He also worked at J.N. Allred and for Great Western Plumbing Supply. He enjoyed bowling and was a member of the 800 Club. He also loved traveling to Nevada and Idaho to go fishing and play slots. He was past president of Yakima, Washington Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He served during World War II in the Army-Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judie; his sons, Jack McWain, Jr., Dennis (Jen) McWain, Jerry McWain, Travis Morvel, and Jason (T.J.) Schrader; daughters, Cathy (Terry) Fain, Jenifer (Randy) Baird, Becky (Gary) Stuck, daughter-in-law Sally McWain, 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; two sisters, two brothers, and many nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; son, Gordon, and two grandchildren.

Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd.
