Jack Elton Perkins

October 21, 1943 – August 20, 2017

Jack Elton Perkins, age 73, passed away August 20, 2017.  He was born October 21, 1943 in Los Angeles, California to Irvin R. and Velma Jeane Stover Perkins.  He married Sherlyn “Cookie” Mae Chipp on June 23, 1961 in East Layton, Utah.

Jack served in U.S. Air Force as Airman 1st Class in the Vietnam War.  He was an avid outdoorsman and a master mechanic working for Cutrubus Motors.  Jack loved his family.

He is survived by his wife “Cookie”, two daughters; Jackie Jeane Perkins (John) and Bridget Marie Perkins (Paul).  Four Grandchildren Crystal, Cord, Shae, Sadie, five great-grandchildren, two brothers Ronald and Randy Perkins.  He was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren and one brother John.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 N. Fairfield Rd.  Friends may visit with family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Mortuary.
