Jack Wade Pickett, 87, of Bountiful passed away peacefully on June 29, 2013. Jack was born August 24, 1925 in Providence, UT to Wade Hampton Pickett and Pearl Mitchell Chugg.
He served as a mechanic in the Army Air Corps during WWII, and completed a mission for the LDS church in Western Canada. Jack married Lois Marie Trowbridge in the Salt Lake City Temple on October 10, 1949. He became a licensed pharmacist after graduating from the University of Utah and, with his wife Lois, was the co-owner and Pharmacist of ServUS Drug and CafAC. in Bountiful.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents Wade and Pearl, his wife Lois, his brother Rex, his sisters Bonnie and Pat, and his son Dan. He is survived by his sons Randy (Kathy), Rex (Janae), Scott (Linda), Mark (Lauri); daughter-in-law Heather; 21 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
The Pickett family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the Heritage Place and the employees and volunteers of Inspiration Hospice for the excellent care and comfort they provided to Jack.
A viewing will be held Sunday July 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm at Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N 400 E Bountiful. Graveside services and interment at 11 am on Monday July 8, 2013 at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
