Jack Eldon Price

Jack Eldon Price, 79, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He was born on August 17, 1933 the son of James C. and Dora Hadley Price in Ogden, Utah.

He married Shirley Marie Schmidt on December 20, 1952 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple on May 10, 1974.

Jack worked for 24 years with Cache Valley Electric. He then owned and operated Amber Truck Lines for 15 years.

He loved camping, teaching and working on cars. He enjoyed 4-wheeling. His best pals were his dogs. He raised German Shepherds.

Jack is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Jeanne (Steve) Bingham, North Ogden; sons, Randy Price, Ogden; Mark (Danene) Price, Hooper; and Galyn (Karen) Price, Ogden; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Coleen Davis, Dorine Phillips; stepbrothers, Frank (Diane) Jones and John (Ann) Jones; and stepsisters, Alice Abernathy and Mary (Lewis) Middleton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kent Price; and grandson, Daniel Bingham.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
