Jackie Lynn Dahl passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011. Her death came as a result of complications from the ravaging disease of ovarian cancer, which she endured with grace and dignity.

She was born October 31, 1957 (Halloween Day) in Ogden, Utah to Robert E. and Cheryl Barlow Parks. She grew up in Sunset and Clinton and graduated form Clearfield High School in 1975. She celebrated 32 years of marriage to the love of her life and best friend, Kent C. Dahl. They were blessed with two children, Kasey and Kristalynn.

Jackie worked for many years at Syracuse Jr. High School, but her favorite occupation was being a wife, mother and grandmother.

She was active in doing humanitarian projects, and was always donating her time or money to charities.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Kent; a son, Kasey K. (Kristin) Dahl, West Point; a daughter, Kristalynn (Bobby) Gilgert, Ogden; her parents, Bob and Cheryl Parks, Syracuse; two brothers, Randy L. Parks, West Haven; Robby D. (Carla) Parks, West Point; four grandchildren, Mason, Griffin, Daxon and Navi Dahl; father and mother-in-law, Claude and Bonnie Dahl, and her little loyal black dog, Jessie James, all of West Point.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 8th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South.

The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.

Interment, West Point Cemetery.
