Jacob Thomas Rollins
January 31, 1988 ~ July 3, 2020
Jacob Thomas Rollins, 32, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 after a long battle with addiction and depression.
He was born January 31, 1988 at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey to Ronald A. Rollins and Sharon Schoeberl Rollins.
Jacob is survived by his father, Ronald A. (Virginia) Rollins, his mother, Sharon M. Rollins, his maternal grandmother, Patricia Schoeberl-Arndt (Jim), his step-brothers, Benjamin Burke and Tyler (Contyra) Burke; and sister, Megan (Ryan) Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald Schoeberl, Ruby Rollins, Virgil Rollins, his uncles, Thomas Schoeberl, and Charles Rollins, and his aunt, EthRollins.
Jacob was a talented carpenter, a compassionate mentor, a gifted artist, and a truly beautiful human. He was also a self—taught class A CDL driver.
He will always be remembered as a loving son, devoted brother, loyal friend to many, and an adventurous, fun-loving uncle to his five nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 12, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends Sunday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.
It is also asked that everyone who attends his funeral services wear a mask (or face covering) and practice safe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Habitat for Humanity and/or Diamond Tree Recovery in Kaysville, Utah.
