Jacque Mignon Davis Neilson

Jacque passed away peacefully at home on December 30, 2016.

She was born on February 17, 1938 in her grandmother’s house in Wallsburg, Utah to Evelyn Allen and Willard LaMar Davis.  She was raised in Wallsburg, Park City, Provo and Salt Lake City.  After graduating from South High School, she attended Arizona State University to pursue a degree in business.  She married Bruce Edward Neilson on March 31, 1964.  He passed away June 7, 2011.

Jacque and Bruce raised three amazing girls, Cydney Mignon Overton, April Anne (Rick) Kiser and Jodilee (Todd) Vanotti.  Mom loved to crochet, sew, read and spend time with family.  She was excited to be a grandma to six wonderful grandchildren, Keaton Overton, Alec (Emma) Overton, James Dale (Kirsten Rivera) Vanotti, Bryce Vanotti, Breanne Kiser and Cassidy Kiser.

We will miss you more than words can say.  We’ll see ya later!

She is survived by her daughter, grandchildren, her brother Allen Davis, and niece Stacey Davis.

A family gathering will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. with a celebration to follow at 1:00 pm at Jacque’s house.
