Jacquelyn Howard Schuler, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 4, 2014. She was born on June 5, 1936 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Don and Ruth Sowers Howard. Jacquelyn lived most of her life in Columbus, Ohio, but moved to Dayton, Ohio for a few years. She moved to Daytona Beach, Florida and resided there for 25 years before moving to Ogden, Utah in 2012.
She was a member of the Catholic church.
Jacquelyn worked for Ray Phelan and Assoc. in Daytona Beach until retiring in 2012.
She loved to read, but her passion was knitting and needlepoint. She made things to give to those she cared about. She will be remembered by all who had the benefit of receiving her handiwork. She was loved by many people. There wasn’t a person she met that didn’t like her. Jacquelyn was loved by so many, but mostly by her daughter, sons, grandsons Kyle and Nathan, brother John and extended family. She will be missed by many.
Jacquelyn is survived by her daughter, Melodie (Patrick) Connelly, Ogden, Utah; sons, Michael Kirwin, Westerville, Ohio; Ted (Debbie) Kirwin, Westerville, Ohio; and Scott Kirwin, Columbus, Ohio; brother, John (Lynda) Howard, Columbus, Ohio; sister, Jodie (Mark) Christensen, Michigan; nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, four nieces, five nephews, many great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; her son, Tim; her parents, and her sister, Susie.
There will be no service or memorial. Arrangements entrusted to Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary.
