Jaden Roy Endo was granted his angel wings surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, December 5, 2013, due to complications from Lissencephaly.
Born March 9, 1994, Jaden''s life would seem too short to many. But those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His quick smile and beautiful big, brown eyes could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his voice and thoughts could always be heard. Although we will miss him every day, he will forever remain in our hearts.
With Jaden''s passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated. Although Jaden''s condition made him appear frail, he possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds. He could spend hours waving his balloons, watching golf with Grandpa or Jazz games with Grandma. Jaden''s quality of life was enhanced immeasurably because of Grandpa and Grandma Endo''s unconditional loving care and support.
Jaden is survived by his loving parents, Roland and Mandee Endo; sister Allie Endo; Grandmother Ritsuko Endo; Aunt Joni Endo; and Uncles Byron and Carl Endo.
He was preceded in death on July 22, 2013 by his grandfather, Roy Endo.
At a later date following cremation, a private family service will be held to honor Grandpa and his "Lil'' Buddy". In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a children''s charity organization of your choice.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the staff at Primary Children''s Hospital, Rainbow Kids, Rocky Mountain Care Center and Hospice, Dr. Alvin Gabrielsen and Jaden''s special girlfriend, Amy, who all provided Jaden with love and dignity in his life and in his death. Arrangements and cremation entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary.
In tears we saw you sinking, And watched you pass away. Our hearts were almost broken, We wanted you to stay. But when we saw you sleeping, So peaceful, free from pain, How could we wish you back with us, To suffer that again? It broke our hearts to Lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you, The day God took you home.
