James Weber Fuller Jr. (Jim)
LAYTON - Jim lost his courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer at home with his loving wife and family at his side at 3:02 a.m. on Friday, July 16, 2010.
He was born on April 14, 1948 in Long Beach, CA the son of James Weber Fuller Sr. and Etta Mae Middlebrooks.
Jim married Mary Elaine McVey on September 23, 1967 in New Orleans, LA. She was his loving and devoted wife of 43 years.
He served in the U.S. Air Force in the Vietnam War. Jim worked at Hill Air Force Base in the Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) area for nine years. He deeply appreciated the annual leave that was so generously donated to him in his time of need.
He was an avid Ham Radio Operator (KF7IS) and loved this hobby with a passion. He loved spending time at his cabin in Idaho with his wife and many friends. He also loved spending time camping, ATVing and snowmobiling.
Surviving are his wife Mary, grandsons, Christopher, Herbie (Cherry), and Mathew Bravo; his sweet little great-granddaughter, Irene, all of Tucson, AZ; his brothers, Daniel (Florence) Fuller, Ronald (Vickie) Fuller of Acworth, GA; and sister Linda Fuller of Avondale, LA; nephews Scott (Valarie) Fuller of Dallas, TX; Levi (Joanna) Fuller, and nieces, Trisha (Dow) Shirley, Natalie (Richard) Orr, Sarah (Tim) Lewis; and numerous great nieces and nephews all of Tooele, UT.
Preceded in death by his dear daughter Michelle, parents and grandparents. Jim loved his family and friends very much and will be missed by all who knew him. Memorial services will be held Friday, July 23, 2010 at 5 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
