James "Jim" Michael Hall, 58, beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away Friday, March 25, 2011.
He was born September 25, 1952 in American Fork, Utah, to James R. Hall and Mary C. Corfield Hall.
James graduated from Basic High School in 1970.
He was married to Kathryn Purdy for 41 years.
James was an avid sports fan, loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, and skiing with his family. He was a loyal and approachable friend always willing to listen and lend a hand. One of the many lessons he taught his family, was the importance of hard work. His greatest joys in his life were his wife, kids and grandkids. With his fun loving personality, he liked to play and joke with all the kids. James devoted his last years caring for his wife and disabled son.
James held many positions in the automotive industry over his life, including management, sales, and business owner.
James is survived by his daughters, Raina (William) Hall, Melisa (Brian) Yoachum; grandchildren, Kerstie, Caitlyn and Robert Hall; Ashley, Tyson and Cameron Yoachum; step-father, William Eighmy; brother, Steven Hall and sisters, Mary Joyce Brandon, Nancy (Perry) Smith, Annette Hall and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 31st at 2 p.m. at the Harrisville 1st Ward Chapel, 435 W. Harrisville Rd.
The family will meet friends Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. and Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the church.
Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank under Erik Hall and Family Fund.
