James Charlie Huffman

SUNSET a€" Charlie Huffman, 72, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2010 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born November 8, 1937 in Cricket, North Carolina, the son of James Wayne and Edith Beshears Huffman.

He married Lucille Wyatt on May 21, 1960 in North Carolina.

Charlie served 30 years in the United States Air Force and retired as a CMSgt. He then worked for CSC at Hill AFB and retired after 15 years.

Charlie was a Mason and attended Hill AFB Chapel. He made great fried chicken and a mean pot of chili. He loved spending time with his many friends.

Surviving are his wife Lucy, daughter, Tina (Tom) Carney and son, James Steven (Becky) Huffman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 23, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Friends and family may call Friday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
