James Jensen

June 19, 1982 — September 24, 2018

James Waldemar “Jimmy” Jensen
June 19, 1982 ~ September 24, 2018

James W. Jensen, husband, father, brother, foodie, natty dresser, and accomplished traveler, died on Monday, September 24, 2018.

He loved his Grandmother, Coral Jensen (deceased), who took care of him in his moments of need, until just before her death in early 2016. He had a life-long love affair with Grandma's spaghetti, goofy cake, and liverwurst on crackers.

He loved driving semi trucks. Jimmy traveled extensively with work and enjoyed doing so. The love of travel may have started as a child of the military, when he lived in Georgia, and later in England before the family settled back in Clearfield, Utah in 1998.

Jimmy took fashion cues from no one. His signature every day look was all his: Fruit of the Loom wife beater, jeans by Levi Strauss, a leather jacket which nobody knows where he got, but he loved it, some kind of boots, and a chained wallet to finish the look.

He is survived by his mother Elizabeth (Regina Stewart) McGahee; father Gary Hooley; sister Patricia (Jason) Farner; brothers Adam McGahee, Ambous (Stephanie) McGahee and Matthew McGahee; nephews, Aiden McGahee and Xander Farner; wife Ariana Butler; children Nick Jensen, Abigail Jensen, Laree Davis, and Trinity Jensen.

He is preceded in death by great grandparents; grandparents, James R. (Coral) Jensen; uncle, Jerry Jensen; brother John McGahee; and nephew Lucas Farner. Along with many other family members.

We love you, and we will all miss our own special version of who you were. Rest in Peace Brother.

Family will be holding graveside services at the Clearfield City Cemetery, 1050 State St., November 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. in his hometown of Clearfield, Utah.
