James "Jim" Lloyd Clark

November 16, 1933 — March 25, 2025

Born November 16, 1933, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to James L. Clark and Clara Mae Talent, Jim passed away March 19, 2025 at the age of 91.

He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War, demonstrating bravery and dedication to his country. On June 10, 1960, he married the love of his life, Linda Smith, in Sunset, Utah. They shared nearly three decades of love and companionship until her passing on June 17, 1989. He carried her memory with him always.

He was a devoted father to his daughter, Natalie Sue Hoy, and a loving grandfather to JJ Hoy, Christopher Jacob Hoy—who preceded him in death—and Hannah Hoy. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Noah Hoy and Cayden Hoy, who brought him immense happiness. His family was his greatest pride and joy.

An adventurous spirit, he loved to travel and had a passion for hunting. Among his most cherished experiences were two safari hunts in Africa, fulfilling a lifelong dream. Whether exploring new places or enjoying the outdoors, he lived life with curiosity and appreciation for the world around him.

He will be remembered for his enduring love for his family, his adventurous heart, and the unwavering strength he carried throughout his life.

A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, April 3,2025 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
