James Neil Lambert was born on January 26, 1970 and went to be with the Lord Wednesday, October 28, 2009. He died of natural causes due to a sudden, extreme illness.
He was born in Seattle, Washington but lived primarily in Longmont, Colorado until moving to Clearfield, Utah. After a stint in the Navy serving in Japan, he moved back to Longmont where he met his wife Shari Michelle Center. They were married in Colorado Springs on September 4, 1998. James asked his oldest daughter, Melodee Kristin to be his first born daughter when she was 6, and then added two more daughters to the family, Afrika Michelle, and Indigo Micah Storm Lambert. The Lamberts were long term members of New Creation Church in Longmont. CO. They worked in the Children''s Ministry under the leadership of Rev. Donnie Bennett for ten years. In 2007, they moved to Clearfield to become the Children''s Ministers for Lakeside Community Church Assemblies of God.
James had a very creative mind and loved to write poetry, skits, and drama. He was skilled in dialects and loved to act out Biblical stories to bring them alive to the children. Their long term plans were to go to the Country of Africa as long term missionaries.
James leaves behind his wife, their three daughters; his mother, JoAnne Chartier, step-father, Bill Chartier and his sister, Brenda Lambert; three nephews Brandon and Thomas Lambert, and Garrett Terry; and his grandmother, Annie Colvin Snyder.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Lambert and Aunt Lindy Poirier.
A celebration of James'' life will be held on Saturday, November 7th at 11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Community Church, 305 West 1300 North, Sunset, Utah.
