JAMES PETER LAROCQUE

James Peter LaRocque died peacefully at the George E Wahlen Veterans Home in Ogden on 10-09-2019. He was born in Worcester, Massachusetts to Peter Edgar LaRocque and Melvina Musse.
James met his sweetheart Nancy Ann Veltheim in Massachusetts while serving in the Army. They were blessed with two sons. Nancy left this world in 1995. James later remarried two other times and has an extensive extended family.
He joined the US Army and served in the Korean War where he was injured. He was later honorably discharged.
James was an Accountant and prepared taxes for clients. He was also a Machinist and worked most of his career at Zero Company in North Salt Lake, Utah where he retired.
James was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which he joined later in life. James loved to fish, hunt and being in the great outdoors of Utah.
James is survived by his two sons: James W LaRocque (Lisa) Branch, Arkansas and Dennis J LaRocque Castaic, California; grandson, Jimmy LaRocque; two great-grandchildren, Parker and Skylar LaRocque, Arkansas; and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy, his third wife Barbara, his parents, sisters Amelia and Gloria.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Centerville City Cemetery, 700 E. 400 S. Centerville, UT. Family and friends will gather at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the service.
The family would like to express their thankfulness and gratitude for the help and care they received from the George E Wahlen Veterans Home and Hospice. Special thanks to Eve Larsen and Melissa Stockton.
