James Grant Laws

“Jamie”

James Grant Laws (Jamie) returned with honor to his Heavenly Father and brother Jesus Christ on Friday April 15, 2016.

He was born in Tyler, Texas on December 3, 1976 and was adopted by his parents Grant and Kathy Laws.  He lived out his life in West Bountiful, Utah.  He was a member of the LDS faith.  He graduated from Viewmont High School in 1996.

Jamie was involved in Special Needs Primary, Special Needs Mutual, Special Olympics, and Boy Scouts of America and was an Eagle Scout and worked for many years at Maverick.

His sweet spirit touched all who knew him.   “We miss you Jamie”

He is survived by his mother, brother (sister-in-law), sister (brother-in-law), nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, sister, grandparents, great grandparents and three cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the West Bountiful 9th Ward Chapel, 1930 N. 600W.  Friends may visit family Fri. from 6-8 pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. and Sat. at the Church from 9:30-10:30 am prior to services.  Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Bountiful, Utah.
