James Dale Marker, 76, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. He was born on November 29, 1946, in Ogden, Utah, the son of Clifford James and Mary Verna Peterson Marker.
He married Karen Keyes and they later divorced. He married Tina May Smith on June 17, 2000 in Ogden, Utah.
Dale worked as a production foreman for Syro Steel in Centerville, Utah.
He enjoyed fishing, watching football games, and watching the Utah Jazz on TV. Dale was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dale is survived by his wife, Tina May Marker; sons, Christopher (Elena) Marker, Corey (Lisa) Marker; Casey (Kimberly) Marker, Caleb (Crystal) Marker, and Colby (Beth) Marker; daughter, Sossity (Drannan) Tidwell; step-children, Kris and Lora Haskell, Kenneth Haskell, Dave and Kristen Boafo, and Kristal Haskell; and sisters, Ellen (Howard) Holt; Kathleen (Lowell) Mecham; Audrey Larsen and Debra (Keith) Warden. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Mary Marker; younger brothers, David and Douglas; and brother-in-law, Steve Larsen.
Friends may visit with family on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. No formal services will be held.
