James Matthew Brown

July 4, 1987 ~ August 16, 2016

James Matthew Brown was welcomed into the arms of his Lord and Savior on August 16, 2016.  James was born on July 4, 1987 at Fairchild AFB in Spokane, WA.  He is the son of William T Brown Jr and Sherryl Benning.

The joys of James's life were being around family, friends, and his Lord.  James had such a wonderful heart for people and for God. He was like his Lord, filled with compassion and a friend to all.  He had such a kind and gentle spirit and his smile brightened up every room he walked into.  He loved people and was a blessing to all that knew him!  James loved spending time with his dad golfing and loved snowboarding and skateboarding with his brothers and friends.  He also loved talking to his mother everyday.  He was a comforter and a peacemaker.

James is survived by his parents, step mother, Kelly Brown, brothers, Billy, Bobby, and Greg, sisters-in-law, Tiffany, Amy, and Rosemary Brown, and Robin Bachnik; grandparents, Robert and Harvey Jean Benning; and his nephews, Gregory and Walker Brown.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Sr. and Muriel Brown.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Roy Christian Church, 4347 South 1900 West.  Friends may visit with family on Saturday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the church.  Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary.
