James Nadell

TAYLORSVILLE- James Nadell, 82, passed away Monday, August 15, 2016, succumbing to cancer, at Heritage Park Rehabilitation Center.

He graduated from Ogden High School.

James retired from the Union Pacific Railroad after 26 years, part of this time was spent loading ice into rail cars. He worked 32 years in the Trucking Transportation industry.

He had a passion for hunting and fishing, later an avid fisherman, spending many summer days in his boat.

James is preceded in death by his parents and one sister Grant Warren Nadell and Annie “Josephine” Anderson, Bette Nadell Brown. Surviving are one son and two daughters, Don Nadell, Julie (Rick) Ashley, and Lisa A. Waite, one sister Marilyn (Stuart) Turner, many loved nieces and nephews and his best friend Eleanor Johnson.

Casual graveside services will be held Saturday, August 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Plain City Cemetery.
