James “Jimmy” Milton Palmer
On Aug 2, 2017, at 2 a.m. James "Jimmy" Milton Palmer escaped the painful chains of a body and was able to return to be with his Mother and Father Mary and Lavon Palmer.
Jimmy spent most of his life as a painter. Over his career, he painted amazing buildings such as The Bountiful, Logan and New Mexico Temples. He was painting The Conference Center in Salt Lake when the Tornado hit. He also worked for Ogden City Schools as both a Painter and Head Custodian at Ogden High School for many years. In his off time, Jimmy loved fishing, watching his Miami Dolphins play and discussing, (Sometimes yelling) politics with anyone who would listen. He brought love and laughter to everyone's soul he touched. He truly will be missed.
He leaves behind a daughter, Aubrey Hope Smith (James); a son, Matthew Kinser; 10 grandchildren, Patrick Nash, Joshua Nash, Kamille Smith, Tyler Smith, and Titus Kinser. plus a baby on the way. He also leaves behind his love of over 39 years, Cindy Sharkey, five brothers and sisters, David Palmer, Richard Palmer (Patty), Joy Morris (Dale), Michelle Hirschi (Mark) and Carol Tonks (Richard), plus many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
