James Walter Pinko, Jr.
On July 12, 2011 a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many left this earth. The world has lost an exceptional man.
James Walter Pinko, Jr. son of James W. Pinko Sr. and Gloria Collins Pinko, was born March 20, 1951 in Plattsburg, NY.
He married Crystal Benjamin and had two beautiful sons, Benjamin Adam Pinko and James Christopher Pinko of Layton. On March 26, 1988 he married his soul mate Brenda Weimer Anderson and became a Dad to Jennifer Lynn Clark (Wayne), Sunset, Douglas Kirk Anderson Jr., Ft. Worth, TX, and Sarah Marie Randall (Darrin), Clinton. Jimi loved life and loved teaching his grandchildren, nieces and nephews who he loved very much. He taught them to fish, ride motorcycles, and the joys of camping. He also taught them about the "yardstick of life." Jimi loved his music and loved to share it with everyone and we know he is jamming with Jimi Hendrix and God. Jimi worked 25 years for Stock Lumber where he retired last year.
He is survived by his wife and children, his grandchildren, Kaige Schuler, Zayne Baldwin, Paige, Lilla, and Killian Randall and Brianna and Keaton Clark. Also surviving are his sister Mary Ann Huffman, his nephews Steve Anderson, Walter Anderson, Jerry Andrews, Russell McEwen, Michael Huffman, and Matthew Weimer, nieces Tazia Huffman, Leandra Weimer and great niece Chloe. He is also survived by his in-laws Clarence and Margaret Weimer, Layton, Uncle Rodney Collins, NY, brothers-in-law Ed and Robert Weimer and many cousins, extended family, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and older sister Dawn Andrews.
To know Jimi was to be a friend for life. If he could say one last thing it would be "the crust of the biscuit is the apostrophe."
