James Robert Johnson
CLEARFIELD – James Robert Johnson, 59, passed away February 14, 2017 after battling cancer. He was born September 17, 1957 in Augsburg, Germany. He is the son of the late Archie Douglas Johnson and Geneveive (Cook) Johnson Schulthies.
He attended schools in Security Colorado and graduated from Tooele High School in 1976. He also graduated from seminary. James was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and fishing. He took pride in gardening and keeping a nice yard. James worked for MC Green for many years as an accomplished cement finisher. He enjoyed fixing and rebuilding computers. James had a passion for animals and loved his cat Mingy of 19 years who never left his side.
James is survived by his mother, Genevieve of Bountiful; sister, GenAnn (Cliff) Howard; brother, Mark (Tammy) Johnson; brother-in-law, Craig (Barbara) Gull. He leaves behind nine nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces, nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Archie; wife, Lori; grandparents; aunts; uncles and a great-niece.
James’s family would like to express a special thank you and appreciation to Deanne Britton and Tammy Leigh for loving and taking care of James.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date.
