LAYTON a€" James Autry Robinson, 70, passed away Monday, June 9, 2008 at his home.

He was born April 22, 1938 in Los Angeles, California the son of Felix and Jamie Curry Robinson. He moved to Utah in 1992.

James married Blanca Estela Beamer on October 19, 1984 in San Fernando, California.

James served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.

He was an accomplished woodwind musician who always had a great love of Jazz music.

Surviving are his wife Blanca, three daughters, Uriko Robinson, Los Angeles, CA; Michiko (Ron) Rolek, Los Angeles, CA; Fumiko Robinson, New York; three sons, Walker (Jodi) Beamer, West Jordan; Christopher (Tiffany) Beamer, West Point; Denise Beamer, Ogden; two granddaughters, Grace and Alexa and grandson, Jansen.

Preceded in death by his father, mama Suzie and son Edward.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 12 noon at Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Funeral Directors, Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
